The HELIX Reversible Jacket for women is a fleece reversible jacket, as it corresponds to today’s drive-hunt spirit. However, the above-average strong fleece quality of the jacket and the innovative cut make the „HELIX Jacket“ an exceptional garment that appeals especially to active hunters. The fleece quality used is about 30% stronger and therefore much more durable than usual, the anti-pilling values of the fleece are excellent. In combination with the windproof and highly water-repellent WND-X membrane, the result is an extremely functional fabric construction for 365 days in the field. One side of the jacket comes in classic olive, the reversible side in a strong, highly visible signal orange. It was important to us that the jacket was suitable for a backpack, so we used Reglan sleeves with seams that do not execute pressure when a hunter carries a backpack on long walks. The cut of the jacket is modern, feminine and yet wide enough to wear the BOREAS jacket made of G-LOFT® underneath, for example. By the way, this combination would be completely winter-proof!
The lower slide-in pockets of the jackets have been set slightly higher with their extra-long YKK® zippers in the sturdy size #5, so that you can still operate the pockets even when you have closed the wide hip belt of a backpack. Another positive side effect is that when it rains, the water rolls off the elbows when the hands are in the pockets and does not run into the pockets. Moreover, the position of these Napoleon-like pockets is very comfortable. The handwarmer bags have a „partition“ made of robust stretch fabric that prevents keys and pointed cartridges from migrating into the other pocket. There are also two breast pockets for dog locator or else on each reversible side. Both pockets can be closed by so-called „invisible YKK zippers“ in the durable size #5 and are hardly noticeable when closed. Small fabric tabs integrated into the Reglan sleeves can be used to secure the sometimes long antennas of GPS devices. The jacket also has concealed thumb holes, a strong elastic waistband and a reflector at the back hem.
